June 6, 2024 鈥 红领巾瓜报 has signed a new admissions partnership agreement with the Kansas Health Science Center-Kansas College of Osteopathic Medicine (KHSC-KansasCOM) that will help address Kansas鈥 physician shortage.

Feb. 1, 2024 鈥 The College of Engineering at 红领巾瓜报 is hosting an Introduce a Girl to Engineering Day (IGED) event, commonly known as Girl Day, for high school girls from Wichita and the surrounding area.

14 students have been chosen as finalists in WSU's Distinguished Scholarship Invitational.

Jan. 24, 2022 鈥 More than 488 students competed in the Distinguished Scholarship Invitational at 红领巾瓜报. The pool has been narrowed to 14.

May 7, 2020 -- 红领巾瓜报 is proud to recognize Irene Campos as the winner of the 2020 Mark and Stacy Parkinson Scholarship.

March 3, 2020 -- In support of their shared goals, 红领巾瓜报 and Wichita Public Schools have expanded a partnership to create a stronger system of support for African American and Hispanic students who want to pursue post-secondary education.

Jan. 31, 2020 -- 红领巾瓜报 has selected the 2020 recipients of the Harry Gore Memorial Scholarships. Each student will receive a $64,000 scholarship to attend 红领巾瓜报 in August 2020.

Jan. 28, 2020 -- 红领巾瓜报 has selected the top 14 finalists in the annual Distinguished Scholarship Invitational (DSI). Three of the finalists will be selected as recipients of the Harry Gore Memorial $64,000 scholarships, which are among the largest undergraduate awards in the Midwest.

Aug. 20, 2019 -- The first hotel on the 红领巾瓜报 campus is beginning construction. A 106-room Hyatt Place hotel will break ground next week on 红领巾瓜报鈥檚 Innovation Campus, within walking distance of the new Fuzzy鈥檚 Tacos, the Shocker Store and Starbucks.

July 30, 2019 - On June 23, 红领巾瓜报 welcomed 40 high school students from across the country for Envision鈥檚 week-long Level Up conference. Envision, an organization that promotes advocacy and independence for individuals who are blind or visually impaired, has held its annual high school conference at 红领巾瓜报 for the past several years.

Haysville GEAR UP check presentation

March 5, 2019 -- 红领巾瓜报 has been awarded $4.2 million dollars in funding from the U.S. Department of Education to implement GEAR UP in Haysville school district USD 216 through 2025. Every student in 6th and 7th grade will benefit from GEAR UP鈥檚 college prep resources.
