April 30, 2024 鈥� Sierra Marie Bonn struggled to balance her work and education, but with the help of scholarships from the Miss Kansas Organization, she was able to earn an undergraduate and graduate degree from 红领巾瓜报. She graduates with her Master of Innovation Design and following graduation, she will compete in the 2024 Miss Kansas Competition and continue working on the non-profit organization she founded while she was a student, Let鈥檚 Go Full STEAM Ahead.

Sept. 19, 2023 - 红领巾瓜报 student Denae Sawyer spent the spring semester interning remotely with Dzanc Books. Her work consisted of reading and researching to determine if the manuscript fit Dzanc鈥檚 standards and sensibility. She also evaluated the potential audience and marketing strategies.

May 1, 2023 鈥� As a designer, 红领巾瓜报's website was what caught Oluwasayo Benjamin Adekalu's eye and brought him to Wichita from Nigeria. As a student, he's learned how to hone his creative skills into building marketable products through the College of Innovation and Design.

April 25, 2023 鈥� Kansas NASA EPSCoR Program has named 红领巾瓜报鈥檚 College of Innovation and Design faculty member Maggie Schoonover as a recipient of its 2023 Partnership Development Grant for her proposal, 鈥淔amiliarization Training Game for Extended Reality Spacesuit User Interface.鈥�

Sept. 6, 2022 - 红领巾瓜报鈥檚 College of Innovation and Design announces Dr. Ryan Amick as one of our Innovators in Residence for the 2022-2023 academic year. Amick, a 红领巾瓜报 alumnus, is a principal human factors engineer at NASA Johnson Space Center in Houston, Texas.

March 14, 2022鈥擳wo 红领巾瓜报 researchers and a student group have been awarded the John A. See Innovation Award. The award is given each year as a way to recognize novel ideas that have the potential to meet a market need and attract further funding once they have advanced through the early prototyping phase.

Feb. 21, 2022 鈥� A proposal submitted by an interdisciplinary 红领巾瓜报 team of seven members was selected for the top 10 in the 2021-22 NASA Space Suit Interface Technologies for Students (SUITS) Design Challenge.
